Otura Meji (Èjì Òtúrá) is the Odù of peace, harmony, joy, serenity, and the fulfillment that comes from living in accordance with divine wisdom. It teaches that true victory is not measured solely by material success, but by the peace of mind that accompanies a life aligned with Olódùmarè, Ori, and the guidance of Ifá.

This sacred Odù speaks of overcoming misfortune, confusion, inner conflict, disorder, and the chaos that often disturbs human life. It reminds us that lasting happiness cannot be found in possessions alone but through spiritual understanding, good character, patience, and unwavering faith.

When the individual finds peace within, that peace naturally extends to the family, the community, and ultimately to the world.

Èsè Ifá lábẹ́ Odù Èjì Òtúrá

Ìtù ló ní kí ẹ mú ire tèmi kọ mi lótù Ìsàlú Ayé.

Ìtù, overwhelm me with abundant blessings throughout my journey in the world of matter.

Ire owó, ọlá àti ìfẹ̀ọkànbalẹ̀ kí ó wá bá mi ní Jẹ́bútù Ìre.

May the blessings of wealth, honor, and peace of mind meet me at the place of victory, happiness, prosperity, and joy.

A dífá fún Orunmila.

Thus Ifá was consulted for Orunmila.

Wọ́n ní kí ó rúbọ nítorí ire gbogbo.

He was advised to perform sacrifice so that he might receive abundant blessings.

Nítorí ire ìfẹ̀ọkànbalẹ̀.

Especially for the blessing of peace of mind.

Orunmila gbọ́, ó sì rúbọ.

Orunmila listened and faithfully performed the prescribed sacrifice.

Ire gbogbo bá Bàbá ní Jẹ́bútù Ìre.

And Baba encountered abundant blessings at the place of victory and fulfillment.

Erigi Alo, jẹ́ kí n rí ire gbogbo báyìí lótù Ìsàlú Ayé.

Erigi Alo, grant that I may receive abundant blessings throughout my journey in this world.

Ire ẹ̀mí gígùn, ìlera àti ìfẹ̀ọkànbalẹ̀.

May I be blessed with long life, good health, and enduring peace of mind.
