Aligning with Cosmic Forces Through Spiritual Discipline

Nothing changes when a person decides to remain in the same position and refuses to take steps to change their life and the lives of their loved ones. Life requires movement, effort, and conscious decision. Transformation begins when a person decides to act.

The universe itself is not immovable. It is sustained by powerful magnetic and cosmic forces operating at every level of existence. Every human being must learn to align with these forces through ritual, small sacrifices, fasting, prayer, walking in reflection, spiritual vigilance, and initiation into the great mysteries of the Irúnmọlẹ̀ (divine forces).

Just as the body feeds on solid food to remain alive and strong, the unseen energies within and around us respond to spiritual actions that come from our mind, our mouth, and our hands. Spiritual discipline nourishes the inner life in the same way that food sustains the physical body.

Holding sacred materials such as obi (kola nut), orógbó (bitter kola), ataré (alligator pepper), and cowries, and praying with them, allows a person to connect with the powerful forces of nature and the spiritual dimensions of existence. Through prayer and intention, one seeks alignment with the preponderant forces that sustain the universe, including Ori (the inner consciousness and destiny).

Through such spiritual alignment, one invokes the support and guidance of the Irúnmọlẹ̀ and Orisa, including:

  • Ogun
  • Sango
  • Obatala
  • Obaluaye
  • Orunmila
  • Esu

And other powerful forces of the spiritual world such as Egungun, Egbe, Ajala, Ajagunmole, Makawusi, Orangun, Nana Buruku, Erinle, Eluku, Eluju, and Olofin, who all play roles in maintaining the balance of life and destiny.

Using sacred materials in prayer invites their forces, power, and energies into practical reality, so that they may support, protect, guide, and empower life with profound wisdom, knowledge, understanding, vision, and purpose.

Through such practices, individuals seek divine support to excel in life and fulfill their destiny.

May the forces of the **Irúnmọlẹ̀, the Orisa, Ori, and the infinite power of Olodumare bless you and your loved ones from generation to generation.

Àṣẹ.
