DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOURSELF — YOUR TIME OF GREATNESS WILL COME

Do not give up on yourself, and never lose hope in a better future.

Some people are blessed greatly at the beginning of their lives, while others become profoundly endowed and successful during the later stages of life. Therefore, never measure your destiny by another person’s timing.

We must continually clamor for wisdom, knowledge, discipline, focus, mental toughness, emotional stability, sound spiritual steps, good character, calmness, patience and physical strength to successfully wander through the jungle of life.

Never relent in improving yourself.

Improve your life through wisdom.

Read and acquire knowledge.

Discipline your mind.

Exercise your body.

Work diligently.

Walk regularly.

Speak less.

And pray perpetually as though your life depends upon it.

Have you noticed that cosmic powers seem to favor those who are courageous, focused, wise and disciplined?

Overcome your vices and hidden destructive habits so that you may enjoy the infinite blessings of Olódùmarè and His numerous divinities.

DO NOT ALLOW DOUBT TO BECOME YOUR MASTER

The doubter can become more destructive to himself than the drunkard, the glutton, the smoker, the lazy soul, the idle spirit or the drug addict.

Why?

Because the perpetual doubter continually expects the worst from every endeavor.

Before beginning, he expects failure.

Before receiving an answer, he expects rejection.

Before confronting a challenge, he expects defeat.

Before tomorrow arrives, he has already imagined disaster.

Eventually, these expectations begin to dominate his thoughts, decisions, actions and reactions. His own mind becomes an obstacle—not necessarily because of enemies, adversaries, evil forces or calamities arising from nature, but because he has allowed fear and doubt to occupy his inner sanctuary.

Those who remain perpetually anxious, continually worried and constantly fearful can gradually become their own worst enemies.

They imagine doom, sickness, disaster, disease and death until these thoughts begin to appear normal within their mental world.

Do not make fear your normal state of existence.

Do not harbor falsehood within your inner sanctuary.

Your inner sanctuary should be filled with prayer, wisdom, courage, gratitude, positive thoughts and good character, rather than thoughts that continually anticipate calamity, disgrace and disaster.

REACTIVATE THE POWER WITHIN

Remember that the power within you can be continually strengthened and reactivated through:

positive words, prayer, good character, patience, discipline, sacrifice, rituals, offerings, initiations and spiritual wisdom.

Just as different nourishing foods contribute to building a strong physical body and maintaining wellness, different spiritual disciplines and practices can contribute to building a strong spiritual life and blessings that extend through generations.

Life requires balance.

Therefore, do not wait until the last hour before seeking help.

Seek spiritual help when spiritual guidance is necessary.

Seek mental and emotional support when it is necessary.

Seek medical help when your physical health requires it.

Seek knowledge when ignorance prevents you from progressing.

Seek wisdom before making important decisions.

And take practical action when practical action is required.

Spiritual wisdom should strengthen our ability to confront life—not prevent us from using the other forms of wisdom Olódùmarè has made available in creation.

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE

Do not surrender your inner power to circumstances outside yourself.

External forces may challenge you, distract you or temporarily obstruct your path, but you must not cooperate with your own destruction through fear, indiscipline, hopelessness and destructive habits.

Remember:

You are an Òrìṣà.

You are supported by your Orí to become and manifest what Ẹlẹ́dàá created you to become.

There is something within you that must be developed.

There is something within you that must be manifested.

There is something within you that must contribute to creation.

You are an extension of great goodness.

Therefore, exhibit your goodness every day.

Your present circumstances are not necessarily the conclusion of your destiny. The fact that another person prospered earlier does not mean that your own blessings have disappeared.

Continue working.

Continue learning.

Continue praying.

Continue developing yourself.

Continue improving your character.

Continue strengthening your body.

Continue disciplining your mind.

Continue taking the necessary spiritual steps.

And continue moving forward.

What has not manifested today may manifest tomorrow. What appears delayed may require greater preparation, wisdom, patience and discipline.

Never give up on yourself.

Be happy.

Be courageous.

Be strong.

Pray often.

Maintain discipline.

Protect your good character.

Exercise patience under all circumstances.

Trust your Orí, continue your work and allow your life to unfold according to the destiny Ẹlẹ́dàá has created for you.

Orí rẹ á gbé ọ.
May your Orí uplift and support you.

Olódùmarè á bù kún ọ.
May Olódùmarè bless you.

You are blessed forever.

Àṣẹ.
