Strengthen Your Mind, Mouth and Spirit

Remember to confront destructive thoughts and negative influences within your life, body, surroundings, and community through the disciplined use of your mind, mouth, and spirit.

The mind represents your thoughts and intentions.

The mouth represents your prayers and spoken words.

The spirit represents your inner strength and sacred connection with Olódùmarè.

Within Ìṣẹ̀ṣe Ifá teaching, you are connected to the universal and infinite wisdom of Olódùmarè and the numerous divinities. Olódùmarè cannot be conquered, injured, or diminished. Therefore, the divine spark within you should remind you that your present challenges are not the total definition of your life.

You are greater than the difficulty confronting you today.

Protect Your Day and Your Purpose

Do not allow fear, provocation, resentment, or contrary influences to ruin your day, damage your relationships, or distract you from your mission and vision.

Work and walk with a good purpose. Remain connected to the wisdom, love, light, and power of Enitolodu. Protect your dignity when others attempt to provoke you. Another person’s conduct should not persuade you to abandon your humanity or good character.

You cannot always control what other people say or do, but you can discipline your response.

Remain calm without becoming passive.

Remain kind without accepting mistreatment.

Remain courageous without becoming destructive.

Remain spiritually focused without ignoring practical reality.

You are a spiritual being with the inner capacity to learn, endure, recover, and excel in the jungle of life.

You Are More Than Your Present Pain

Pain, illness, hardship, and emotional distress can be deeply difficult. They should never be dismissed or treated as evidence of weak faith. You are permitted to feel tired, frightened, disappointed, or uncertain.

Spiritual strength does not require you to deny what you are experiencing. It asks you not to make your suffering the complete identity of your life.

Acknowledge the pain, but do not surrender your entire future to it.

Recognise the illness, but do not reduce yourself to a diagnosis.

Accept appropriate assistance, but do not abandon hope.

Seek healing, treatment, knowledge, prayer, and compassionate support. Your present hardship may eventually deepen your wisdom, awaken new strength, or help you become a source of understanding for others. Yet you do not need to romanticise suffering in order to find meaning within it.

Direct Your Mind Toward Hope

Allow your mind to dwell upon healing, peace, happiness, prosperity, harmony, success, and the infinite wisdom of creation.

This does not mean pretending that every circumstance is already perfect. It means refusing to let despair possess every part of your consciousness.

Let your thoughts become prayers of possibility:

May I receive strength for this day.

May wisdom guide my decisions.

May the right people and resources support me.

May my body receive appropriate care.

May my spirit remain connected to hope.

May this experience eventually contribute to wisdom and generational blessings.

Spiritual conviction can support courage and perseverance, but it does not guarantee a particular medical outcome. Illness is not created simply by negative thoughts, and persistent pain does not mean that a person has failed spiritually.

Combine Prayer With Responsible Action

Fill your mind with prayer and gratitude, but also take responsible action.

If you are ill, seek qualified medical evaluation and follow appropriate treatment. If you are struggling emotionally, speak with a trusted person or mental-health professional. If danger exists in your surroundings, take practical steps to protect yourself.

Prayer can accompany these actions. It does not have to replace them.

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health distinguishes complementary practices used alongside conventional care from alternative practices used in place of it. Spiritual practices should therefore support—not substitute for—appropriate professional treatment. Read the NCCIH guidance.

Medicine may care for the body.

Counselling may support the mind.

Prayer may strengthen the spirit.

Family and community may provide companionship.

Wisdom allows these forms of support to work together.

Use Your Mouth to Speak Life

Your mouth carries power because words influence your attention, conduct, and relationships. Speak words that encourage responsible action, courage, healing, and peace.

Do not use your mouth to curse your destiny.

Do not continually declare yourself defeated.

Do not speak as though your present difficulty is the permanent conclusion of your life.

Instead, affirm:

I will meet this day with courage.

I will seek wisdom and appropriate help.

I will not allow provocation to destroy my character.

I will continue working toward my mission.

I will remain grateful for every genuine source of support.

Positive words must be accompanied by positive conduct. Prayer must be supported by discipline. Faith must walk together with wisdom.

Gratitude Is a Spiritual Practice

Be grateful today—not because everything is perfect, but because gratitude helps you recognise what remains meaningful and supportive.

Give thanks for life.

Give thanks for wisdom.

Give thanks for those who support you.

Give thanks for every opportunity to learn, recover, and begin again.

Gratitude does not forbid sadness or silence legitimate pain. It simply prevents suffering from hiding every blessing that still exists.

May everything within creation that is aligned with your destiny contribute to your progress, victory, success, and blessings.

May Enitolodu bless you now.

May Èlà Ìwòrì illuminate, elevate, and guide you from generation to generation.

May your mind remain filled with wisdom.

May your mouth remain filled with prayer and constructive words.

May your spirit remain connected to Olódùmarè.

May you receive strength in difficulty, peace in uncertainty, support during illness, and light upon the road of destiny.

God bless you today, and may God bless us all.

Be grateful today and remain blessed.

Ìwọ gan-an l’Òrìṣà.
You are the true divinity.

Aṣẹ.
