Your morning prayer is fundamental, and your daily ritual or sacrifice is essential for survival in the jungle of life. In the wisdom of the Ifá tradition, spiritual discipline is not optional—it is a vital practice for protection, balance, and guidance.
Those who fail to offer Ebo (sacred offering) or perform Etutu (ritual) risk becoming the objects of sacrifice themselves. Life operates through spiritual exchange. The wise understand this truth and take responsibility for their destiny through conscious spiritual action.
Ritual is the spirit of “Babaláwo tó gbójú”—the wise and courageous Ifá priest who uses daily ritual to guide his steps. In the same way, every Omo Erinwo Òsìn (observer of the tradition) must cultivate the discipline of prayer, offering, and ritual practice. A Babaláwo or practitioner who neglects daily ritual, Etutu, or Ebo lives in illusion. Ignorance and illusion have no place in the living tradition of Isese.
At every level of existence, countless energies and vibrations interact constantly. These forces can change the dynamics of events within seconds. The wise recognize this reality and maintain peace of mind through Iwúre (prayer) and Ebo Riru (sacred offerings).
Use orógbó (bitter kola) in your prayers and rituals to influence events at the spiritual level. Through disciplined spiritual practice, one strengthens the mind, improves physical well-being, increases wisdom, and attracts victory in life.
Remember that in sacred praise poetry, the eyes of Sango are compared to orógbó. This symbolism reminds us that through Sango, the divine authority of Olodumare watches, protects, directs, and guides us through the jungle of life with divine vision and spiritual power.
May the infinite blessings of Olódùmarè, through Sango, fill your life and the lives of your loved ones with victory, long life, good health, protection, security, happiness, joy, success, prosperity, wealth, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, meaningful work, breakthroughs, flourishing business opportunities, and generational blessings.
Àṣẹ.
