Certain mysteries are difficult to explain, and many spiritual realities remain enigmas to the human mind.
Human beings naturally want to see, feel, touch and analyse everything within creation. We investigate natural phenomena because we desire to understand how nature works and how life unfolds.
Yet infinite wisdom cannot always be measured by human reasoning. What appears foolish or incomprehensible to the ordinary mind may contain a wisdom far beyond its present capacity to understand.
Life itself is a mystery. It unfolds within mystery, preserves itself through mystery and shields many of its deepest truths from complete human explanation.
The sanctity of life remains greater than human knowledge.
Humanity Can Transform What It Did Not Originate
Human thought did not originate water, yet human beings can transform water, direct it, preserve it and add value to it for the benefit of creation.
Humanity did not originate the air, land, trees, mountains, gold, diamonds or the natural materials from which ornamental objects are made. Nevertheless, people can work with these gifts of creation, transform them and create useful forms and imitations from what already exists.
This reveals an important distinction: human beings may not possess the power to originate the fundamental mysteries of nature, but they have been given the wisdom and capacity to work with them.
We can observe, learn, cultivate, organise and transform. We can add value to what creation has already provided.
Therefore, do not become so consumed with explaining the mystery of life that you forget to live, serve and create. You cannot originate life from nothing, identify its ultimate beginning or fully explain the end of creation.
However, you can add value to life.
Work with the Mystery Instead of Fighting It
The ocean and the sea are natural phenomena that humanity can use to support life. We can travel across them, obtain food from them and learn from their movement and power.
Yet an individual cannot simply command an ocean to vanish or remove an entire sea from its natural place and relocate it somewhere else without changing its nature and capacity.
Creation has its own laws, boundaries and mysteries.
Wisdom does not require us to control everything. It teaches us to recognise what already exists and discover how to work responsibly with it.
The purpose of life is not always to solve every mystery. Sometimes our responsibility is to honour the mystery, learn from it and use the gifts already present to improve existence.
Life Is Connected to Spirit
Life is connected to spirit. Through spiritual wisdom, many great things are revealed and manifested within physical existence.
The laws of life include the possibility of transformation. A condition of mediocrity, hopelessness, illness, despondency, mental distress, lack, poverty or delusion does not always have to remain permanent.
Possible spiritual steps may be taken to confront and reverse destructive conditions. These steps may include prayer, fasting, sacrifice, rituals, initiation, discipline, patience and the development of good character.
However, spiritual action does not mean rejecting other forms of assistance.
Through discipline, control of the mind, human support and the appropriate use of herbs, leaves, roots and medicines, we can add value to life and participate in its restoration.
Never Reject a Hand of Support
Spiritual wisdom does not teach us to reject every other means through which transformation may come.
The universe can use many things to change the trajectory of a life. Therefore, never discard a hand extended to support, help, heal or add value.
Transformation may come through:
- Plants and herbs
- Animals
- Human beings
- Physicians
- Medicine
- Food
- Prayer
- Spiritual practice
- Knowledge
- Compassion
- Discipline
- Community support
- Human inventions
All these arise within the creation of God.
Physicians, medicine and the beneficial inventions of humanity may be understood as expressions of wisdom emanating from God and His numerous divinities. Spiritual faith and appropriate human assistance do not have to oppose one another.
A prayer may strengthen the soul while medicine supports the body. Spiritual discipline may focus the mind while a physician provides necessary knowledge. Food, plants, human care and scientific invention may all become instruments through which life is protected and transformed.
Do not limit the universe to only one method of helping you.
All Life Depends upon the Supreme Source
The life of every person, being and substance ultimately depends upon God.
Through the Supreme Source, miracles, healing, wonders, abundance, surplus, peace, harmony, health, wealth, joy, happiness, strength and power are established and revealed.
The divine may work through ways we recognise and through ways we do not yet understand. Help may arrive through prayer, another person, a physician, medicine, nature or an opportunity that did not exist before.
Remain spiritually open, mentally aware and willing to receive the assistance that life presents.
Delay Is Not Denial
Delay is not denial.
A blessing that has not yet manifested is not necessarily a blessing that will never come. Healing, transformation and restoration may unfold gradually.
Remain connected to God and His numerous divinities through:
- Prayer
- Fasting
- Rituals
- Sacrifice
- Initiations
- Discipline
- Good character
- Patience
- Wisdom
- Determination
- Endurance
- Faith
- Belief
- Conviction
- Inner strength
- Mental development
- Positive thoughts
Do not abandon your spiritual foundation because the answer has not arrived at the time or in the form you expected.
Some transformations require preparation. Some blessings require endurance. Some answers emerge through a process rather than a single moment.
The Mind Carries Transformative Power
The mind is powerful, and a disciplined mind can support healing and transformation.
Never allow defeat, disaster, delusion, doom, death, disease, disgrace, deception or weakness to become the language continually repeated by your mouth and mind.
Your words should not strengthen the condition you are attempting to overcome. Your thoughts should not become a prison that prevents you from recognising possibility, assistance and change.
Do not allow negative thoughts or a difficult present situation to destabilise and destroy your connection to spiritual wisdom.
Fill your mind with prayer, hope and constructive thought. Fill your mouth with gratitude, blessings and positive words.
This does not mean denying the reality of a problem. It means refusing to make the problem the only reality your mind is capable of seeing.
You Have the Right to Transform Your Path
You have the right and responsibility to change many things within your life and to create a better path for future generations.
What you are experiencing today may be calling you back to the Source of life, love and wisdom.
Refuse to agree permanently with failure.
Remain connected to the inner power within you. Strengthen your spiritual wisdom, develop mental discipline and take the practical steps required to improve your circumstances.
You are not the first person to face hardship. Whatever is happening to you today has appeared before in the lives of others. Wise and disciplined souls have confronted tremendous challenges and overcome them without allowing constant complaints, criticism, condemnation, hatred or destructive words to rule their minds.
Their endurance did not mean that they felt no pain. It meant that they refused to surrender their destiny to pain.
Your Mind Is Connected to the Universal Mind
Your mind is connected to the Universal Mind and can become a channel for profound miracles, strength, healing, good health and wonders.
You do not need a complete intellectual explanation for every blessing before you can receive it. Many important aspects of life existed before we developed the language or knowledge to describe them.
There is no complete explanation for why you entered the world through a particular family, chose certain parents, arrived in a particular country or now walk upon a specific land.
In the same way, do not insist that every miracle must first satisfy the limitations of your present understanding.
Remain observant and wise. Accept appropriate assistance. Take practical action. Yet also leave room for life to unfold beyond what you can currently explain.
Follow the Example of Those Who Endured
Imitate the sages, saviours, saints and deities of old who endured misfortune, temptation, challenges, problems and difficulties.
They did not retreat permanently. They continued walking and working towards light, wisdom, knowledge and the power of infinite blessings radiating throughout the universe.
Their greatness did not arise from the absence of hardship. It emerged through their response to hardship.
They endured.
They persisted.
They prayed.
They acted.
They continued learning.
They remained focused upon light.
Your challenge does not have to become the end of your story.
Your Situation Can Be Transformed
Your situation will be resolved, but you must learn to endure, persist, pray, fast and take concrete steps to transform your life.
Seek spiritual wisdom, but do not reject human support. Pray, but also act. Trust God, but remain open to the physicians, medicines, foods, plants, knowledge and compassionate people through whom help may arrive.
Allow your mind to support your healing rather than reinforce your fear. Use your words to bless your path. Use your discipline to carry you through delay. Use your wisdom to recognise the many forms in which divine assistance may appear.
You may not understand every mystery, but you can still add value to life.
You may not explain every miracle, but you can remain prepared to receive one.
You may not control the entire ocean, but you can learn to navigate its waters.
Continue moving towards light, wisdom, healing and transformation.
You are blessed.
Ase.
